Background: Zoledronate is a nitrogen-containing bisphosphonate (BP) recognised for its antiresorptive potency. The pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic of zoledronate remains unclear. Although adverse events from overuse of BP is rare, there have been reports of over-treatment resulting in pathophysiological consequences.
